The Tulsa women's soccer team captured a 2-1 overtime win against East Carolina on Friday night at the Johnson Soccer Stadium in Greenville, N.C. TU moved to 13-4-1 on the season and 4-3-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while ECU fell to 7-9-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the league.
"I thought we played with a lot of resiliency tonight," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "I was proud of the way we played. ECU is a tough place to play, plus tonight they were fighting for a spot in the American Athletic Conference tournament and for their seniors on senior night.
