On Wednesday, the Tulsa women's basketball team went to Three Eyes Park, which is an underground cave system with three natural lakes, stopped to view the Columbus Lighthouse, which was built in honor of the 500th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of America, and went to Columbus House, which was Christopher Columbus' son Diego's home.
After a little sightseeing, TU took on the Dominican National Team. At halftime, Tulsa and the DNT were tied, 36-36, but the DNT captured an 81-77 win. Junior guard Erika Wakefield had a team-best 23 points, while junior forward Liesl Spoerl added 13 points.
