The Tulsa women's golf team is in a seventh-place tie in the 17-team field after scoring a round of 11-over par 299 on the first day at the Notre Dame Clover Cup at the par-72 Longbow Golf Club.
Tulsa senior Antonia Von Wnuck shot an opening round one-under par 71 and is in seventh place overall after the first 18 holes.
Von Wnuck teed off on the 10th hole to start the day and after her first nine holes sat at two-over par. She birdied the par-5 first hole, which was her 10th of the day, and also added birdies on holes 5 and 7 to go to one-under par.
