NEW ORLEANS, La. –– The Hurricane took control in the second half shooting 59% on 16-27 from the field, to take down Tulane with a final of 67-54 in Fogelman Arena. Tulsa wins their third consecutive game moving to 4-1 in the American Athletic Conference, the Hurricane's best start since beginning conference play 5-1 in 2016-17.
With 12:51 left in the game, Tulsa used a 10-2 run to extend to 51-40, the Hurricane's first double-digit lead of the game. The Hurricane held the Green Wave to three baskets the final 6:59 of the game forcing Tulane into 35% shooting in the second half.
