TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa volleyball senior Emily Thorson has earned her second American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll bid, the conference announced on Monday.
Her second honor comes after a remarkable offensive performance on the road this past weekend, where Tulsa traveled to take on UCF and USF in Florida. Thorson racked up 32 kills on the weekend for a 4.00 kills per set mark.
In Sunday's match against USF, the senior posted a career-high six service aces en route to leading Tulsa to a 3-1 win over USF with 13 team aces.
