TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa volleyball defensive specialist/libero Taylor Horsfall earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll, the conference announced on Monday.
The honor comes after a standout weekend at the Bruiser Showcase in Nashville, Tennessee. Horsfall averaged 5.40 digs per set on the weekend. The 2017 American Libero of the Year posted a season-high in digs in a 3-1 win over UMBC on Saturday, racking up 27 digs in the contest.
Horsfall improved as the weekend went on, tallying 13 digs in the first match, 14 in the second and 27 in the tournament finale.
