PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – The Tulsa volleyball team swept Temple Friday night, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23 to secure its 11 victory of the season. Tulsa improves to 11-8 on the season, 6-4 in American Athletic Conference play, while Temple drops to 5-15 on the year, 1-8 in AAC play.
Tulsa was in control in the first set, jumping out to an 8-3 start that turned into a six-point first set victory.
The second set went back and forth, a total of 10 ties during the set, before the Golden Hurricane were able to hold off the Owls and jump to a 2-0 match lead.
