Tulsa Volleyball Falls to SMU, 3-1, to Conclude Third Consecutive Road Match

Tulsa, Okla.— The University of Tulsa volleyball team fell to SMU, 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 13-25, 19-25) Wednesday night at the Moody Coliseum. Senior middle blocker Ashley Hooper recorded 16 kills, and junior libero Brooke Berryhill led the way defensively for TU with 16 digs. The Golden Hurricane fell to 6-9 and 1-2 in American Athletic Conference play, and SMU improved to 12-3 and 2-1 in American Athletic Conference play.

In the initial frame, both teams battled with the score tied at 10-10, 13-13, and 15-15 before TU took a five point lead with the score at 20-15.
