TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa track and field team had five athletes that competed in the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Drake Stadium over the weekend. The Golden Hurricane also had four athletes that participated in the Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, Calif., at Cobb Track and Angell Field.
In the Payton Jordan Invitational, junior Luke Traynor finished runner-up in Section 4 of the men's 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:04.16. Senior Tim Rackers registered an eighth-place finish in Section 4 of the men's 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:18.
