Brandon Swannegan scored a career-high 21 points in the final regular season game for nine Tulsa seniors at the Donald W. Reynolds Center Saturday afternoon as the Golden Hurricane pulled out an 84-74 win over USF on Senior Day.
Tulsa closed out the regular season with a 20-10 record and 12-6 league mark and secured the third-seed in the American Athletic Conference Tournament coming up next week. USF fell to 7-24 overall and 4-14 in conference play.
Fellow seniors James Woodard and Shaquille Harrison added 18 and 15 points, respectively, while junior Pat Birt chipped in with 12 points.
