TULSA, Okla. –– Taking a break from conference action for both teams, Tulsa hosted the No. 6-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls on Wednesday at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
The Cowgirls went deep three times and scored five runs in the second and added seven more in the sixth to claim a 12-1 victory. OSU had 12 hits, while the Hurricane managed just two hits off OSU's hurler Morgan Day.
OSU improved to 35-7 on the season, while Tulsa fell to 14-24-1.
