TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa softball team put a scare into 10th-ranked Oregon on the first day of the TU-OSU Invitational, but fell 3-2 to the Ducks Friday afternoon at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
Tulsa faces the Drake Bulldogs in the nightcap.
The Tulsa-Oregon game was scoreless through the first four innings, but the Ducks broke through in the top of the 5th with a single, walk, double, sacrifice fly and a single for their 3 runs.
Tulsa responded in the bottom of the inning as Aubree Seaney started it off with an infield hit, then Kari Briggs went deep to right field for her first career homers and Tulsa's 2 runs.
