TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa softball team completed a weekend sweep defeating American Athletic Conference opponent East Carolina, 11-3, Sunday afternoon at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
The Golden Hurricane improves to 26-7 overall and 5-1 in league play, while the East Carolina falls to 18-21 overall and 0-6 in conference play.
Sophomore pitcher Emily Watson picked up her second win of the weekend striking out six batters and merely giving up three hits. She pitched four innings for Tulsa and threw 51 pitches. Watson improves her season record to 9-6.
