The University of Tulsa men's and women's soccer teams have joined forces to help raise money for the "One Yard at a Time" campaign, which will go towards a new Tahoma 31 grass field at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Adding the new grass will improve drainage and the playability of the field, as well as help ensure the safety for all those on the field.
Tahoma 31 is a hybrid bermuda grass that has exceptional winter hardiness, has improved wear tolerance and drought resistance, and is ideal for sports turf.
The goal for "One Yard at a Time" is to cover the cost for all 9,000 square yards of the playing surface, and donors can contribute at various levels ranging from $30 to over $10,000 by clicking HERE or by calling 918.
