LAS VEGAS — The University of Tulsa men's basketball team will close play in the Continental Tires Las Vegas Holiday Invitational with a pair of games at Orleans Arena, starting with a 3 p.m. (CT) contest against No. 6 Nevada on Thanksgiving Day.
The Golden Hurricane (4-0) will be in search of its first win over a ranked opponent since 2015, when it knocked off No. 9 Wichita State at the Reynolds Center. A win also would give Tulsa its best start to a season under head coach Frank Haith.
TU improved to 4-0 with an 88-78 win over Little Rock on Monday night, when Martins Igbanu scored 20 of his 23 points in the second half.
