The Tulsa rowers will kick off the 2015-16 season on Saturday, October 3 at the Head of the Oklahoma, which is raced on the North Canadian River in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The Golden Hurricane will race 14 boats in five events, including the Lightweight 1x, Open 2x, Lightweight 2x, Collegiate 4+ and Collegiate 8+.
"We are looking forward to our first race of the season," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "The Head of the Oklahoma always comes at a great time in our training schedule. The rowers have been rowing well and working back into form for the past few weeks, and now they are excited to see their improvements in a live environment.
