TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa softball team rallied from an early 3-run deficit to defeat Memphis, 10-4, on Saturday in the second game of its American Athletic Conference series at Collins Family Softball Complex.
Sarah Briers drove in three runs, while Mikayla Whitten and Alexis Perry each drove in a pair for the Golden Hurricane (23-10, 4-1). Tulsa capitalized on errant pitching by the Tigers (18-16, 2-3), as TU totaled a season-high 10 walks.
Josie Muffley and Chenise Delce each recorded multi-hit games, while Samantha Pochop improved to 8-5 in the circle with 5.
