TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa's Shamari Brooks scored from 19 yards out and the Tulsa defense forced a Wyoming turnover in the final minute for a 24-21 victory Saturday afternoon at H.A. Chapman Stadium. Tulsa moved to 2-2 on the season, while the Cowboys suffered its first loss for a 3-1 record.
"Wow. That's about all I can say after that. Great team win, all three phases, made plays throughout," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery.
Trailing 21-17 with 5:25 on the clock, Tulsa took possession at its own 25-yard line and went 75 yards in 7 plays for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown.
