Tulsa Men’s Tennis Team Falls to Oklahoma 6-1

NORMAN, Okla. –– The Tulsa men's tennis team ended a 15-day layoff Sunday at Oklahoma, falling to the Sooners 6-1 at the Headington Family Tennis Center.

The Hurricane fell to 5-4 on the season, while Oklahoma improved to 5-1 overall.

The Sooners won the doubles point and then clinched the match by winning the first three points in singles.

Stefan Hampe garnered Tulsa's lone win at the No. 4 position. After dropping the first set 6-4, Hampe turned it around in the second set for a 6-4 win. In the third-set tiebreaker, Hampe outlasted Mark Mandelik 12-10 for the victory.
