ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team lost to the No. 28-ranked Michigan Wolverines in a 4-1 decision Sunday afternoon at the Varsity Tennis Center. The No. 22-ranked Golden Hurricane falls to an overall 7-4 record, while the Wolverines improve to 9-2 overall.
Michigan's Jathan Malik and Kevin Wong (No. 2) defeated Carlos Bautista and Juan Matias Gonzalez, 6-4, before Tulsa bounced back to tie the doubles match score at 1-1 as Matthew Kirby and Okkie Kellerman defeated Alex Knight and Runhao Hua, 7-6.
