The Tulsa men's soccer team earned a 2-1 win over Sacramento State on Sunday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU moved to 1-1 on the season, while the Hornets fell to 0-2 overall.
"I am pleased with how we grinded it out," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "Sunday games are always difficult, particularly when you had an overtime game on Friday night, but the guys stuck to the game plan and did a good job of executing it. At times our passing and our decision-making weren't very good, but we created a few decent passes.
