The Tulsa women's golf team will be competing this weekend, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 23-25, at the 2016 Lady Paladin Invitational, hosted by Furman University, at the par-72, 6313-yard Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, South Carolina.
Tulsa is coming off of a ninth-place team finish in a 15-team field last week at the Red Raider Invitational.
This is the sixth time Tulsa has played at the Lady Paladin Invitational, but the first since the 1980-81 season. Tulsa won tournament titles in 1976 and 1977, while placing second in 1980 and 1981 and finishing in fifth-place in 1978.
The five golfers representing the Hurricane at the Lady Paladin include sophomore Johanna Samuelsson, who had a team-best 15th place finish at the Red Raider Invitational, senior Nadia Majidizadeh, who placed 17th overall, as well as newcomers Greta Bruner, Taylor Dobson and Anneka Strobach.
