PINEHURST, NC –– After the first 36 holes, the Tulsa golfers sit in a 5^th place tie at the American Athletic Conference Championships being played at the par-72 Pinehurst No. 6 course. Tulsa has a two-round score of 602 after finishing the second round at 7-over par 295 for a 602 total score.

Tulsa's Lilly Thomas leads the way for the Golden Hurricane in 5^th place after finishing round two at 2-under par 70 for a 2-over par 146 total score, five strokes behind the tournament's individual leader, UCF's Tunrada Piddon (141).
