KYLE, Texas –– After 36 holes at the Texas State Invitational, the Tulsa women's golf team sits one stroke behind team leader BYU. Tulsa finished the day with a 593 total at the par 72 Plum Creek Golf Course.
The Hurricane carded a first-round score of 295 and a second round 298, while BYU shot rounds of 289 and 295 for their 592 total score.
Tulsa placed four golfers among the top-20 as junior Lilly Thomas led the way with a third-place score of even par 144. Thomas turned in a one-over par 73 in the first 18 holes and a one-under par 71 in second round action.
