MANHATTAN, Kan. –– The Tulsa women's golf team sits in 4th place after the first two rounds in the 11-team field of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational Sunday. The Golden Hurricane carded rounds of 297 and 298 for a 36-hole total of 595 at the Colbert Hills Country Club.
Tulsa is just seven strokes behind team-leader Kansas State's score of 588, followed by North Texas (590) and New Mexico State (594).
Three Hurricane golfers are among the top-20, led by sophomore Lorena Tseng in 13th place after rounds of 73 and 76 for 149.
