Tulsa Golfers Begin Defense of AAC Championship Sunday

PINEHURST, N.C. –– The Tulsa women golfers will be looking to defend their American Athletic Conference Championship, Sunday-Tuesday, April 17-19, at the par-72, 6,290-yard Pinehurst No. 6 Resort Course in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Tulsa captured the team title a year ago with rounds of 293-301-294 for an 888 total. Lorena Tseng led the way for Tulsa with a second-place finish while Lilly Thomas placed 13th overall.

The nation's 28th-ranked UCF Knights come in as the tournament favorite this year as the Knights and Golden Hurricane (54) are the only AAC teams ranked among the nation's top 60 teams in GolfStat rankings.
