KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The Tulsa women's golf team returns to the golf course on Sunday for first round action at the three-day 54-hole Kiawah Island Spring Classic. The event continues Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 25-26.
The tournament is the largest collegiate event in the country with 48 teams playing on two par-72 courses, Osprey Point and Oak Point. After 36 holes, the top 24 teams will play for the championship at Osprey Point during the final round, while teams 25-48 will play for a flight championship at Oak Point.
The Hurricane goes into the Kiawah Island Classic with the 5-player team of senior Johanna Samuelsson, sophomore Taylor Dobson and a trio of freshmen – Lorena Tseng, ShaeLee Scarberry and Sammy Liu.
