The Tulsa Varsity 4+ and 2nd Varsity 4+ both earned silver medals at the Sunshine State Invitational at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., on Saturday morning, while the Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 8+ both recorded fourth-place marks.
"I feel like the team had a pretty successful weekend overall," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We are all a little disappointed that we couldn't keep the successes from yesterday moving into today, but we have to be more aggressive in the middle part of the racing. When we put ourselves in a position for speed we can't let up.
