The overall defense graduated seven starters, including two stalwarts on the defensive line in the likes of Shemarr Robinson and 5th Round Chicago Bears draftee Trevis Gipson.
In 2020, the Hurricane front will look to make-up for Robinson's size and Gipson's ability to pressure the quarterback. It will all start in the middle of the action upfront for the Hurricane defense.
"We feel good where they are on the defensive front," said Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery.
Tulsa returns a total of 29 starts at the nose guard position between returning junior starter Jaxon Player (6-0, 290) and senior Tyarise Stevenson (6-3, 351).
