TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa football program named Brody Trahan as Quality Control Coach for Special Teams and Recruiting, Head Coach Philip Montgomery announced today.
Trahan spent the 2019 season coaching the linebackers at McNeese State, helping the Cowboys post a 7-5 record. Before that, Trahan spent two seasons (2017-18) at Ithaca College, where he also coached linebackers.
In 2018, he helped coach Ithaca to the school's first-ever national ranking in the NCAA Division III poll, an 8-3 record, and an appearance in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl. In addition, he coached All-American Pat Minogue, who was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year, while every member of the starting defense was named to one of three All-ECAC teams.
