TULSA, Okla. – Haley Meinen went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs, but Missouri State rallied from a four-run deficit to defeat Tulsa, 7-6, on Tuesday evening at Collins Family Softball Complex.
(1-for-3) and (2-for-3) each extended their hitting streaks to 16 and 15 games, respectively, for the Golden Hurricane (14-10). and each drove in runs with sacrifice flies, while Samantha Pochop pitched the first 4.1 innings of the contest and recorded four strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Kaitlin Beason went 3-for-5 to lead the Bears (13-10) and Erin Griesbauer pitched five scoreless innings of relief for the victory.
