The Lions went on a 17-2 run to start the second half for a 42-33 lead. The Hurricane battled back and took a 53-51 lead with 3:24 left on the game clock, but LMU finished out the contest on a 9-2 run for the five-point victory. Tulsa fell to 4-5 on the year with its third straight loss, while Loyola Marymount improved to 6-3.
