LAWRENCE, Kan. - The No. 33-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team dropped its final road match of the regular season to No. 50-ranked Kansas on Tuesday, 6-1, at the Jayhawk Tennis Center. With the loss, the Golden Hurricane sit at 8-4 overall, while the Jayhawks move to 4-4 on the season.
The Hurricane held the advantage at No. 3 doubles, as and captured a 6-1 victory over Maria Toran Ribes and Julia Deming. and took an early lead at the No. 2 spot, but ultimately fell to No. 32 Sonia Smagina and Carmen Roxana Manu, 6-2.
