TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tulsa softball team opened American Athletic Conference play on Friday afternoon, falling at USF in extra-innings, 4-0 at the USF Softball Stadium.
Morgan Neal led the Golden Hurricane (19-9, 0-1) on offense with a 2-for-4 day at the plate, while Kassidy Scott went 7.1 innings and fell to 5-2 with the loss. TU saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end.
Meanwhile, Macy Cook provided the only runs of the day for the Bulls (23-12, 1-0) with a grand slam in the bottom of the eighth inning.
