NEW ORLEANS, LA. –– Tulane's hot shooting doomed the University of Tulsa men's basketball team in a 97-63 loss at the Avron B. Fogelman Arena on Wednesday evening.
With the loss, Tulsa dropped to 6-12 and 0-7 in The American Athletic Conference, while Tulane improved to 8-9 and 5-3 in the conference.
Tulane shot 60 percent from the field for the evening (35-58), and an even better 64 percent (14-22) from beyond the arc. The Golden Hurricane connected on 41 percent of its shot, going 19-of-46 from the field.
