NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Softball team dropped a pitchers' duel to No.9-ranked and defending national champion Oklahoma 1-0 in 10 innings on Wednesday night at Marita Hynes Field. The loss dropped the Hurricane to 11-9 on the year heading into a weekend where they will host the Tulsa Invitational at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
Emily Watson tossed a career-high 9.1 innings in the loss that moved her to 8-3 this season, striking out nine and walking three while holding Oklahoma (16-4 overall) to just one hit through the first four innings.
