WICHITA, Kan. – Tulsa dominated the 5,000-meter run on both the men's and women's side, posting the top-7 men times and four of the top-5 women's times, while Henry Visser broke his own school record in the 400-meter hurdles to close the three-day American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. The Tulsa men finished in third with 123 points, while the women came in fourth at 83 points.
In the men's 5,000-meter run, Scott Beattie took gold, finishing in 14:23.07, just ahead of Isaac Akers and Peter Lynch, who claim all-conference honors.
