STORRS, Conn. – The Tulsa softball team closed the regular-season with a doubleheader sweep of UConn by scores of 7-5 and 8-0 on Saturday afternoon.
With the wins, the Golden Hurricane improved its overall record to 35-17 with a 16-5 American Athletic Conference mark. Tulsa's 16 league wins are its most since joining The American prior to the 2015 season.
TU will either be the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in next week's American Athletic Conference Championship (May 9-11), which will be held in Houston, Texas.
