BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – and claimed American Athletic Conference championships in the 5,000-meter run while the Tulsa distance medley relay team of , , , and set a meet record and the third fastest-time in school history. The Tulsa indoor track and field team had six athletes qualify for final events tomorrow during day one of the 2022 American Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
Beattie, , and went one-two-three in the men's 3,000-meter run, while Hershenow and finished in the top-two of the women's 3,000-meter run. Tulsa took five of the first nine spots in the men's run, and three of the top-nine in the women's run.
