TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa women's and men's cross country teams opened their 2019 seasons with a second and third-place finish, respectively, at the Hurricane Preview on Saturday morning at Mohawk Sports Complex.
Both teams competed against squads from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
The women finished second to Arkansas and had four runners in the top 10. Caroline Miller led the way for TU with a two-mile time of 13:00. The sophomore led a group of three other Golden Hurricane runners that finished just one second behind as Caitlin Klopfer, Ashley Barnes and Adrena Mazzei placed fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
