TU Basketball Throws out First Pitch at Drillers Game

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa basketball team took part in first pitch ceremonies at the Tulsa Drillers baseball game Friday evening at OneOK Field in downtown Tulsa.

Senior guard Shaquille Harrison was selected to deliver the pitch on behalf of the team. Flanked on the mound by his 14 teammates with camera phones capturing the action, Harrison toed the rubber, wound up and fired a fastball to Drillers pitcher Daniel Tillman, who was serving as catcher for the ceremonies. The natural lefty, who played baseball through eighth grade, displayed his ambidextrity by electing to throw the pitch with his right hand.
