Hurricane Athletics to Honor Allan Trimble at Athletic Events on Nov. 1-3
TULSA, Okla. –– Longtime Jenks High School educator and football coach Allan Trimble and the Trimble Strong Foundation has teamed up with The University of Tulsa athletics department in trying to increase awareness of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and encourage individuals to live with a purpose.
ALS, historically known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
In addition to Tulsa's Homecoming, the weekend of November 1-3 has been designated as the Trimble Strong Foundation Athletic Weekend.
