Traynor Places 13th, TU Men 11th at NCAA Cross Country Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior Luke Traynor placed 13th and the Tulsa men's cross country team finished 11th at the NCAA Championships Saturday at the LaVerne Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

The 11th-place finish is Tulsa's second-highest team placement ever, behind its seventh-place finish in 2012. Traynor's finish at 13th is also the second-best individual finish for TU, behind Marc Scott's 10th place in 2015.

Traynor ran 30:07.7 to score 10 team points for the Hurricane in his fastest 10K of the season.
