TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa Volleyball team moved to 2-0 at the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational with a 3-1 win over Northwestern State on Saturday afternoon. Tulsa (10-1 overall) held the Demons to just a .052 attacking-percentage in the match while TU hit .202.
Tulsa was dominant early in the first set for the second consecutive match as they jumped out to a 12-3 lead after four service aces from Mariah Pardo. Back-to-back Jaime Rahilly kills put the Hurricane ahead by 10, 19-9. After a Rachel Moore kill, Northwestern State rattled off three straight points to bring the set to 23-14, but Moore and Trinity Alualu finished it off with consecutive kills, 25-15.
