TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's Taylor Horsfall has been named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. This is the second consecutive week that the senior libero has earned this honor. Additionally, she has received this award three times this season and seven times in her career.
A native of Houston, Texas, Horsfall recorded her 2,000th career dig on Friday at SMU. She became the third Golden Hurricane in program history to reach 2,000 digs. Horsfall entered the match just one dig shy of the mark with 1,999 career digs.
