The St. Louis Rams announced two roster moves on Friday afternoon.
With running back Tre Mason officially questionable with an ankle injury, the Rams promoted running back Trey Watts to the 53-man active roster and released safety Christian Bryant.
Watts, 24, appeared in 14 regular season games a year ago after making the Rams as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Tulsa. He played well this preseason but after serving a four-game suspension for substances of abuse, the Rams released the young running back.
