TULSA, Okla. – Senior Brandon Rachal was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the second time this season after leading the Hurricane to a win against the USF Bulls, 61-51, on the road, it was announced today.
Rachal scored 15 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, had 4 steals, 3 assists and one block in the game. He shot 6-12 (50%) from the field, 1-3 (33.3%) from three and 2-2 (100%) at the free throw line.
After sitting out the final 14:25 of the first half due to foul trouble, Rachal led the Hurricane in second half scoring, putting in 13 of his 15 points in the second half.
