NORMAN, Okla. — Saturday night's NCAA Norman Regional contest between Tulsa and Missouri was suspended with the score tied 5-5 heading to the top of the fourth inning due to lightning and storms in the area. Play will resume at noon on Sunday, May 20.
The winner of the contest will advance to face No. 4 overall seed Oklahoma at 4 p.m.
Missouri jumped out to a 5-0 lead with four runs in the top of the first and another in the third. Braxton Burnside provided the big hit in the first with a three-run homer before Amanda Sanchez's solo shot in the third.
