TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Tulsa senior Martina Okalova moved up to No. 52 in the final 2019 Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I National Fall Singles Rankings, announced by the organization on Wednesday. This is the highest singles ranking in her career, as she ended the 2018 fall campaign sitting at 54th.
Okalova, who was ranked 73rd out of 125 individuals in the preseason singles rankings, went 5-3 in fall competition. She went 1-1 in ranked matches, securing a three-set win over then-No. 32 Jessica Failla from Pepperdine at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Women's All-American Championships 7-6(4), 7-5.
