Tulsa's seven-time All-American was the only collegian in a star-studded 10,000-meter international field at the prestigious 2017 Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, California.
In a field of 35 runners, Scott set a school record and personal-best when he clocked a time of 28:07.97 for 12 place in the 10,000m, but more importantly his time hit the qualifying standard for the Commonwealth Games.
Tulsa athletes also took six top-2 finishes at the Arkansas Twilight Meet, as first-place performances were turned in by sophomore with a throw of 45.58m in the discus and a men's 800-meter time of 1:50.
